Violence does not only hurt the person who experiences it, it hurts the whole community. It is up to all of us to be educated and learn all of the signs, symptoms and what we can do to help end domestic violence.
Reach out to support someone you believe is a victim of domestic violence and/or talk with a person you suspect is being abusive.
Be involved with your local community and volunteer your time and energy to help.
Support domestic violence counseling programs and shelters. Donate/sponsor items that you don't want or need anymore such as clothing and toys.
Help others become informed by inviting speakers to your church, professional organization, civic group or workplace.
Call the police if you see or hear evidence of domestic violence.
